Rectoral do Umia Calazul Albarińo 2019

Producer: Rectoral do Umia
From a collection of growers in the Rías Baixas area where Albarińo thrives, comes this delightful wine that has bright zesty tropical fruit and gooseberry aromas with a citrus core supported by a lime and mineral structure. Soft citrus and a little peach appear on a well-rounded palate. Crisp green apple flavours alongside fresh lemon and an underlying hint of chalky minerality leading to a tangy finish with fantastic acidity. This is perfect when sitting in the sun with friends or enjoying with fresh fish. 12.5% and Vegan

The Ducroux family have been making Sancerre since 1643 over 13 generations, each time passing down years of experience, expertise and genuine passion. Now father Daniel and his daughter Letitia are making the wine and tending to the vineyards. This Sancerre is Crisp and clean with fantastic purity of flavour and elegant mineral tones throughout. Bursting with ripe citrus fruit and supported by a core of zippy acidity. A long, lingering finish worthy of any occasion. It's classically paired with goat’s cheese or alternatively match with white fish, oysters or smoked salmon. 12.5% and vegetarian.

Cantine Torri 4 20 Pecorino 2019

Cantine Torri is a small private estate of mature vines that is fully converted fully to organic wine production. Balance is normally Pecorino's weakness (like a lot of aromatic varieties) but we feel the Pecorino "4 20" is really special, demonstrating great poise, concentration and plain likability. This is a joy to drink and really versatile, it will handle gentle spiciness like curry leaves, lime and chilli. This Pecorino wine has an intense yellow colour with hints of fruit and white flowers. In the mouth it is fruity and spicy with good acidity and persistent fruitiness. Enjoy with Mediterranean inspired foods. 13% and Organic, Vegan.

Picture of Glover Family Vineyards BOB Short for Kate Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Glover Family Vineyards BOB Short for Kate Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Bob Short for Kate by Marlborough's talented Ben Glover pays homage to his sister, nicknamed "Bob" (some of you may well get the Black Adder reference!). Ben looks to produce a wine that characterises the honesty, purity and confidence of Kate (she passed away in 2018). This gorgeous and zesty Marlborough sauvignon blanc offers the best of what the region has to offer with peach, melon and hints of citrus on the nose. The palate has a blend of tropical passion fruit, guava and mandarin leaping from the glass that leads to a never ending finish. Great on its own or with grilled fish or seafood salads. 13% and Organic, Vegan.
