Nonni Malbec 2018

Producer: Nonni
A family run winery located in La Consulta in the Uco Valley, Mendoza. The Angulo Innocenti Nonni is meant to celebrate their great grandfathers, who were both vintners. Pedro Angulo and Angel Innocenti, were originally from the Basque country and Tuscany respectively. Some of the wine is aged for 6 months in French oak which results in a combination of blackberries, smoke, spice and hints of tobacco and oak on the nose. The palate has a rich taste of blackberry and dried redcurrant which is elegant and fresh with velvety tannins and a lovely finish. Great with grilled red meats or a cheese board. 14% and Vegan.

Henri Giraud Esprit Nature Champagne NV

Described by leading wine critic Robert Parker as "the finest Champagne house virtually no one has ever heard of". Humanity and Sustainability are the key words of Henri Giraud where they work in most natural way possible, without using weed-killer or pesticides in their vineyards. No stainless steel is used, only small oak barrels to keep the champagne as natural as possible. This high quality Champagne has a beautiful golden colour with soft fine mousse and aromas of peaches, pear, vanilla and crystallised lemon. There are mineral notes with rich flavours of biscuit and almonds. A wine of real character and more likely work about £80, it's generous and well balanced, even a bit seductive!. The perfect aperitif. 12% and Sustainable methods.
