Inacayal Torrontes 2019

Producer: Inacayal
Coming from vineyards of Luján de Cuyo which sits at altitudes of around 1000m above sea level and combined with the intense sunlight experienced during the day and the cold night temperatures, the wines produced here show deep concentration of flavour and structure. This Torrontes is pale yellow in colour with hints of green. On the nose, there are tropical aromas such as pineapple with hints of jasmine flowers. It leaves a fresh and well balanced wine with great acidity and a long finish. Will go well with ceviche, grilled seafood dishes such as calamari or octopus, also very nice with chargrilled veg and salty cheeses such as feta or ricotta. 12.5% and Vegan

Chateau de Valois Pomerol 2016

For generations this tiny estate has always been inherited by a women. The estate only covers some 7 hectares, consisting of 30 year old vines, and situated on the gravelly hill of Pomerol. This is a stunning Pomerol and has an intense raisiny richness from a blend of 77% Merlot that is balanced by a backbone of 4% Cabernet Sauvignon and 19% Cabernet Franc. Lower yielding vines give intense rich fruit and lower volumes which are beautifully enhanced by ageing in new oak barrique. Subtle flavours of plum, red berry and liquorice on the palate are nicely balanced with long and complex soft tannins. Enjoy with roasted or grilled meats ranging from beef, veal, pork, game or chicken. 14.5% and Organic methods, Vegan.

De Rochebouet Brut Rosé NV

Jean-Edouard de Rochebouët is French born but lives in Argentina and has created this stunning sparkling using 56% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay and 4% of Malbec and making this in the same way as champagne (Méthode Champenoise). Just 5000 bottles were made making this a very rare find. Light, delicate and salmon-pink in colour, this really doesn't disappoint. Lovely summer fruit character throughout, raspberries and strawberries with nice biscuity notes on the nose, and a deliciously fine finish. These bubbles are brilliant and you won't find better value anywhere. Enjoy on its own or with seafood or salads. 12.5% and Vegan.

Cantine Torri 4 20 Pecorino 2019

Cantine Torri is a small private estate of mature vines that is fully converted fully to organic wine production. Balance is normally Pecorino's weakness (like a lot of aromatic varieties) but we feel the Pecorino "4 20" is really special, demonstrating great poise, concentration and plain likability. This is a joy to drink and really versatile, it will handle gentle spiciness like curry leaves, lime and chilli. This Pecorino wine has an intense yellow colour with hints of fruit and white flowers. In the mouth it is fruity and spicy with good acidity and persistent fruitiness. Enjoy with Mediterranean inspired foods. 13% and Organic, Vegan.

Glover Family Vineyards BOB Short for Kate Pinot Noir 2019

Bob Short for Kate by Marlborough's talented Ben Glover pays homage to his sister, nicknamed "Bob" (some of you may well get the Black Adder reference!). Ben looks to produce a wine that characterises the honesty, purity and confidence of Kate (she passed away in 2018). This beautiful Pinot gives a bright, brambly hue with aromas of wild berries, cherries, raspberry and a hint of green spice. These notes overflow onto the palate with a burst of fruit and elegance to the finish. Easy to enjoy on a summer night (slightly chilled) or with salmon or other fatty fish, roasted chicken or pasta dishes. 13% and Organic, Vegan.
