The French call it “Terroir” but we call it “Gravel and Loam”. Deep in the Wairau Valley, the vineyard is spread over two terraces - the upper 33 hectares are certified BioGro organic whilst the remaining 37 hectares are conventionally farmed. The wines are produced in a way which reflect the typical characters of the region and surrounding environment while making a conscious effort to deliver outstanding value for money. The estate has a strong commitment and sense of responsibility to the environment. 100% sustainable certified vineyards and winery; organic production is also a focus.
