Domaine de la Grande Courtade Rose `l`instant` Organic 2019

Owned by Louis Fabre, this excellent estate near Beziers, in the southern Languedoc, benefits from the Mediterranean climate. Recent investment, cold fermentation and good vinification produce aromatic and spicy wines with remarkable finesse. Produced from organic fruit grown at the small estate, Grande Courtade (meaning `large sunny courtyard`), this is a delicate salmon pink rosé made by the `saignée` method of bleeding the fermenting juice from the skins, to preserve the fruit flavours and aromas. It is dry with a perfumed bouquet of vibrant summer fruits on the palate and a refreshing and crisp acidity. Enjoyed as an aperitif or with salads, cold meats and chicken dishes. 12.5% and Organic, Vegan.

Trastullo Primitivo 2020

Trastullo is an archaic Italian word that means something which gives you enjoyment. The front label is based on a work by French printmaker Jacques Callot who travelled through Italy in the early 17th Century recording his experiences as he went, particularly at the court of the Medici Family. The wine is made in Puglia and scores a massive 4.3 on Vivino which should tell you something.T his Primitivo is deep red in colour with fresh varietal aromas, such as blackberry and cherry, which develop and become more complex over time. The palate is well balanced between the soft tannins and gentle acidity. You won't find better for the price, anywhere!
