Domaine Bersan Chablis 2019

Producer: Domaine Bersan
Father and son duo Jean-Louis and Jean-Christophe run the estate in Saint Bris, which is a much sought-after area, but thankfully it remains under-the-radar in the UK, making these wines a real coup when it comes to quality and pedigree of terroir. This is an organic Chablis from Domaine Bersan which has subtle notes of lemon and pink grapefruit on the nose which lead to a crisp palate with an abundance of citrus fruit and green apple. The wine has excellent acidity and a beautiful saline finish. Enjoy as an aperitif or with goats cheese, shellfish, fish or veal. 12.5% and Organic

Gravel & Loam Sauvignon Blanc 2019

A Green Cellars best seller and for good reason! This NZ Sauvignon is superb. The French call it “Terroir” but we call it “Gravel and Loam”. Deep in the Wairau Valley, the vineyard is spread over two terraces - the upper 33 hectares are certified BioGro organic and the remaining terraces are sustainable. This wine is bright with lively gooseberry aromas alongside notes of fresh herbs and grassy tones. The palate is vibrant passion fruit, citrus and peach characters with top notes of melon and kiwi. Soft apple and white pear flavours balance a well-structured wine with zesty acidity and fantastic length and elegance. Enjoy as an aperitif or with fresh, simply cooked seafood and light salads. 12.5% and Vegan, Sustainable.

De Rochebouet Brut Rosé NV

Jean-Edouard de Rochebouët is French born but lives in Argentina and has created this stunning sparkling using 56% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay and 4% of Malbec and making this in the same way as champagne (Méthode Champenoise). Just 5000 bottles were made making this a very rare find. Light, delicate and salmon-pink in colour, this really doesn't disappoint. Lovely summer fruit character throughout, raspberries and strawberries with nice biscuity notes on the nose, and a deliciously fine finish. These bubbles are brilliant and you won't find better value anywhere. Enjoy on its own or with seafood or salads. 12.5% and Vegan.
