Gravel & Loam Sauvignon Blanc 2019

A Green Cellars best seller and for good reason! This NZ Sauvignon is superb. The French call it “Terroir” but we call it “Gravel and Loam”. Deep in the Wairau Valley, the vineyard is spread over two terraces - the upper 33 hectares are certified BioGro organic and the remaining terraces are sustainable. This wine is bright with lively gooseberry aromas alongside notes of fresh herbs and grassy tones. The palate is vibrant passion fruit, citrus and peach characters with top notes of melon and kiwi. Soft apple and white pear flavours balance a well-structured wine with zesty acidity and fantastic length and elegance. Enjoy as an aperitif or with fresh, simply cooked seafood and light salads. 12.5% and Vegan, Sustainable.

Guillaume Aurèle Rosé Pays D’OC 2019

Coming from a group of growers over and number of vineyards in Languedoc region and with a good variety of terrior, the grapes for this wine are picked at night to preserve the freshness. The result is a light blush colour with floral notes on the nose with candied fruit on the palate. It possesses a touch of strawberry too and has good acidity. This wine is not too serious and is perfect for a sunny day around the BBQ. Drink on it's own or enjoy with canapés. 12.5% and Vegan.

Flor del Inca Malbec 2019

This wine comes from the Toneles Winery which has some of the best wine regions of the province, such as Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo. This is a fun wine which is slightly smoky with berries and plums on the nose. It's medium bodied with soft tannins and a hint chocolate. This is very easy pleasant drinking and great to have with a group of friends. Enjoy on its own or with anything coming off the BBQ. 13% and Vegan.

Pitchfork Shiraz 2018

Michael Kerrigan, a well know Australian winemaker, likens Margaret River's climate to "Bordeaux in a perfect year". This Pitchfork represents unprecedentedly good value considering that all of the grapes are grown in Margaret River - very unusual for a wine at the entry level from this region. This Shiraz is vibrant and youthful with ripe cherry and plum fruits on the nose, with smooth chocolaty influences. The palate displays good depth of fruit concentration, ripe sweet fruit fleshiness in the mid palate and a good flavour extension on the finish. Best with beef and venison. 14% and Organic methods.
