Chateau de Valois Pomerol 2016

For generations this tiny estate has always been inherited by a women. The estate only covers some 7 hectares, consisting of 30 year old vines, and situated on the gravelly hill of Pomerol. This is a stunning Pomerol and has an intense raisiny richness from a blend of 77% Merlot that is balanced by a backbone of 4% Cabernet Sauvignon and 19% Cabernet Franc. Lower yielding vines give intense rich fruit and lower volumes which are beautifully enhanced by ageing in new oak barrique. Subtle flavours of plum, red berry and liquorice on the palate are nicely balanced with long and complex soft tannins. Enjoy with roasted or grilled meats ranging from beef, veal, pork, game or chicken. 14.5% and Organic methods, Vegan.

Familia Schroeder Saurus Barrel Fermented Malbec 2017

These lands are magical - they hide astonishing mysteries! When construction began to build the winery a dinosaur was unearthed and in tribute to this 75million year giant, the name Saurus was given in tribute! This stunning Malbec has a deep ruby red colour with a hint of violet. The combination of individually selected blocks of intense Malbec fermented in subtly toasted new oak barrels gives full ripened fruit aromas with strong plum and cassis gently backed with floral and spiced nuances. This is a firm, well structured wine with hints of vanilla and chocolate, a soft and full mouth feel with a long lingering finish. Say no more and enjoy with roasted lamb, grilled sausages or steak. 14% and Vegan, Sustainable methods.

Inacayal Torrontes 2019

Coming from vineyards of Luján de Cuyo which sits at altitudes of around 1000m above sea level and combined with the intense sunlight experienced during the day and the cold night temperatures, the wines produced here show deep concentration of flavour and structure. This Torrontes is pale yellow in colour with hints of green. On the nose, there are tropical aromas such as pineapple with hints of jasmine flowers. It leaves a fresh and well balanced wine with great acidity and a long finish. Will go well with ceviche, grilled seafood dishes such as calamari or octopus, also very nice with chargrilled veg and salty cheeses such as feta or ricotta. 12.5% and Vegan

Domaine Berthet Rayne Châteauneuf du Pape AOC 2017

This family-owned domaine is now managed by the fourth generation of the Berthet Rayne family. This stunning Châteauneuf du Pape has rich, concentrated aromas of black cherries and cassis alongside a hint of oak. It's full-bodied and powerful in style and it's juicy, succulent red berry fruit flavours are dominant on the palate, whilst toasty oak characteristics and firm tannins provide structure and complexity. Similar quality wines will cost a lot more which makes this a stonker which you can drink on it's own or with slow cooked beef dishes or coq au vin. 14% and Organic

Atamisque Malbec 2017

The winery is located in Tupungato (Balcony to the stars) and this Malbec comes from low yielding, 90 year old vines and the wine spends 14 months in new French oak. This Malbec has a nose of violets and blackberries with a hint of tobacco. It has excellent concentration and is beautifully voluptuous with blackberry jam and plumbs. The tannins give great structure, balance and surprising smoothness. It is both Intense and elegant and needs to be on your bucket list because the juice in this bottle is genuinely insane. This was my Malbec of 2020 by far, and I had a few! Drink now or wait a potential 15 years. Enjoy with Steak or Lamb dishes. 14.5% and Vegan
