Bodega Luigi Bosca Signature Malbec 2018

Coming from the Luján de Cuyo region of Mendoza where all of the grapes are hand-picked, the viticultural team apply biodynamic principles across the estate, though they do not hold certification. This Malbec from Luigi Bosca is a joy to drink. Bright violet in the glass, intense and balanced aromas, with red fruit, spicy and florals notes. It is generous, smooth and expressive in the mouth, with incipient tannins. Clean, refreshing and well-bodied in the palate, with attractive character. It has a deep and clear finish, with a fully-integrated oak character and good ageing capacity. It is the flagship wine of its variety and for good reason. Enjoy with steak or any red meat from the BBQ. 14.5% and Vegan.

Luigi Tacchino Gavi di Gavi Azienda Vitivinicola 2019

Piedmont is perfect wine country as the hills provide a natural amphitheatre which protects the vineyards from the northerly winds. Today brother and sister duo Alessio and Romina run the Tacchino estate and take great care to restrict yields, meaning this Gavi di Gavi DOCG is full of citrus fruit and tropical notes with crisp acidity and a lingering finish. Typically, Gavi di Gavi should be clean and crisp with a mineral finish. This 2019 version from Azienda Tacchino goes a step further with its apple and peach aromas and notes of fresh almond and seashell on the palate. A beautiful summer time wine enjoyed as an aperitif or with herby pasta sauces like pesto or white fish. 12.5% and Vegan.

De Wetshof Estate Bon Vallon Chardonnay 2019

Danie de Wet pioneered this noble cultivar in South Africa and this Chardonnay is a fresh and expressive, unwooded version. The nose is delicate with aromas of lemon, honeysuckle blossom and peach. The wine was matured on its lees to produce a vibrant, lemony dry wine with a yeasty and delicate nutty finish. With typical attention to detail, Danie's wife Lesca has designed classic packaging for this distinctive wine. Fantastic as an aperitif or with Caesar salad, seared salmon or tuna. 13% and Sustainable methods.
