Nonni Malbec 2018

A family run winery located in La Consulta in the Uco Valley, Mendoza. The Angulo Innocenti Nonni is meant to celebrate their great grandfathers, who were both vintners. Pedro Angulo and Angel Innocenti, were originally from the Basque country and Tuscany respectively. Some of the wine is aged for 6 months in French oak which results in a combination of blackberries, smoke, spice and hints of tobacco and oak on the nose. The palate has a rich taste of blackberry and dried redcurrant which is elegant and fresh with velvety tannins and a lovely finish. Great with grilled red meats or a cheese board. 14% and Vegan.

Domaine de la Grande Courtade Rose `l`instant` Organic 2019

Owned by Louis Fabre, this excellent estate near Beziers, in the southern Languedoc, benefits from the Mediterranean climate. Recent investment, cold fermentation and good vinification produce aromatic and spicy wines with remarkable finesse. Produced from organic fruit grown at the small estate, Grande Courtade (meaning `large sunny courtyard`), this is a delicate salmon pink rosé made by the `saignée` method of bleeding the fermenting juice from the skins, to preserve the fruit flavours and aromas. It is dry with a perfumed bouquet of vibrant summer fruits on the palate and a refreshing and crisp acidity. Enjoyed as an aperitif or with salads, cold meats and chicken dishes. 12.5% and Organic, Vegan.
